STOP! READ AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

Hex ear plugs have been designed for comfort and high levels of protection. They are designed to reduce noise, to aid sleep, travel and working situations.

Directions for use

Carefully remove required earplugs from the sheet.

Roll the plugs between the finger and thumb to compress them for insertion.

Reach above head and pull the ear gently upwards. Slide the plug into the ear canal and hold in place for 5 seconds to allow the plug to expand and fill the ear.

The plug should now be correctly positioned in the ear canal.

Checking the fit of your Foam Ear Plugs

1. Always fit your ear plugs so that they seal the ear closed. Once you have both earplugs inserted, check the fit by talking out loud. Your voice should sound hollow, as if you are talking in a barrel. The noises around you should not sound as loud as they did before you inserted your earplugs.

2. Re-check the fit often. Your ear plugs may loosen up when you talk and chew. If this happens, you could lose your protection from noise.

3. If you don't get a good seal, you may get little or no protection from noise, so try another type of hearing protector.

Care, Cleaning & Disinfection Instructions

Wear clean earplugs. Use a new pair of foam ear plugs every day. These earplugs are disposable and single use only. Examine your earplugs before inserting. Ensure earplugs are clean and dry before inserting. Do not use if earplug becomes dirty, torn, damaged or no longer fits correctly, dispose of and use a new pair.

The sound level and the frequency of warning signals in the environment can vary in different situations. All hearing protection affords limited protection. The user is responsible for the proper selection, use, care and maintenance of this product. Improper selection (including under/over protection), use or maintenance may lead to serious hearing loss.

The SNR figure for these earplugs is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the protection attainable from impulsive noise such as gunfire. Constant and repetitive exposure to impulse noise may lead to injury, temporary or permanent hearing loss.
